This is a standard template covering our care plans and one-time redesign work. If you have questions about anything below, email us before signing up — we're happy to clarify.

1. What we provide

WellKeptSite offers two types of services:

Website Care Plans — ongoing monthly maintenance for your existing WordPress site, including backups, security monitoring, plugin and core updates, and monthly reporting.
Website Redesign — a one-time project to redesign and rebuild your website, as scoped in a written proposal agreed before work begins.

2. Billing and payment

Care plans are billed monthly in advance. Redesign projects are billed as agreed in your project proposal (typically a deposit to begin, with the balance due at launch). All prices are in US dollars.

3. Cancellation

Care plans have no long-term contract. You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us; your plan remains active through the end of the billing period already paid for. We don't offer refunds for partial months.

4. Your responsibilities

You'll provide us with the access needed to do the work (typically a WordPress administrator account) and revoke it if you cancel.
You're responsible for the content on your site and for having the rights to any content, images, or trademarks you ask us to use.
You'll review redesign drafts within a reasonable time so we can stay on schedule.

5. What we don't guarantee

We take reasonable, industry-standard steps to keep your site secure and backed up, but we can't guarantee that your site will never be compromised, go down, or lose search ranking — these depend on many factors outside our control, including your host, third-party plugins, and platform-wide security issues. If something breaks, we'll work to restore it from backup as quickly as we reasonably can.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, beyond our obligation to restore your site from the most recent backup.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll notify active customers by email before it takes effect.
